(A) ITC’s Internship Programme
Incubatees/ I&T Tenants of HKSTP are eligible to apply to recruit interns to assist in R&D projects.
- Each company can engage up to 2 interns at any one time.
- The maximum internship period for each intern is 24 months.
- The total internship period for each company should be no more than 48 months.
- The maximum monthly internship allowance is HK$16,000 for graduates with a Bachelor’s degree and HK$19,000 for graduates with a Master’s or higher degree from a local university.

(B) ITC’s “Postdoctoral Hub” Programme
Incubatees/ I&T tenants of HKSTP are eligible to apply to recruit postdoctoral talent to assist in R&D projects.
- Each company can engage up to 2 postdoctoral talent at any one time.
- The maximum engagement period for each postdoctoral talent is 24 months.
- The total postdoctoral talent engagement period for each company should be no more than 48 months.
- The maximum monthly allowance is HK$32,000 for each postdoctoral talent.
- The postdoctoral talent must possess a doctoral degree in a science, technology, engineering and mathematics-related discipline from either a local university or a well-recognized non-local institution. Non-local institution means those among the top 100 institutions for related subjects in the latest publication of world university ranking tables, including the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Academic Ranking of World Universities) or Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

(C) Technology Talent Admission Scheme (TechTAS)
TechTAS provides a fast-track arrangement for eligible technology companies/ institutes to admit overseas and Mainland technology talent to undertake R&D work. Under the scheme, tenants and incubatees of HKSTP engaging in the areas of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, data analytics, financial technologies and material science are eligible for application.
- Eligible technology companies/ institutes would first have to apply for a quota.
- A company/ institute allotted with a quota can accordingly sponsor eligible persons to apply for an employment visa/entry permit within the quota validity period.
- It has to fulfill the requirement to employ new local employees.
